How much to translate?
Translations can get expensive. For some products and services you can start with just translating the most important pages of your website to "hook" the interest of your visitor and then continue in English for the details. This is better than no translation at all and is a lot more affordable than a full-blown web site translation.
In the long term though, you may want to phase in a full web site translation. This could be achieved perhaps over a year’s time, progressively translating parts of your site and increasing efforts as you get return of investment if you don’t have many resources and prefer a variable cost.
